Days 1–2

Bogotá

  • Settle into the capital in a character-rich historic setting.
  • Explore Paloquemao Market with a local chef and discover Colombia’s extraordinary fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers.
  • Walk La Candelaria for history, politics and street art, then visit the Gold Museum and Botero Museum.

Days 3–5

Medellín

  • Fly to Medellín and explore Comuna 13 through the story of the city’s social transformation.
  • Visit a coffee hacienda to learn about harvesting and roasting, with the option to continue into the countryside for colonial towns and orchid collections.
  • Trek in the surrounding Andes in search of waterfalls and birdlife, or consider a Paso Fino horse experience.
  • An optional Guatapé day can combine aerial views, the colorful town and time on the lake.

Days 6–8

Cartagena

  • Discover the Walled City with an expert focused on history, architecture and culture.
  • Experience Getsemaní through local life and street art, with an optional artist-led workshop.
  • Cook Caribbean recipes with a local chef and learn salsa, champeta or cumbia with professional dancers.

Days 9–11

Barú

  • Travel by private boat or yacht through the Rosario Islands archipelago.
  • Leave a full day open for the beach, with the National Aviary as an optional addition.
  • Return to Cartagena for departure.
